Don't miss the College's first-ever Social Sciences EXPO! This EXPO is a comprehensive one-stop shop for current and prospective students with interests in the following eight social sciences: anthropology, criminal justice, economics, education, history, political science, psychology, and sociology. You can come and go throughout the day, or stay for the entire event. To increase equitable opportunities for our students and colleagues, there will be an EXPO at TP/SS and Rockville 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following dates:

Tuesday, April 9 - Takoma Park/Silver Spring Student Services (ST) Atrium - 1st and 2nd Floors
Wednesday, April 17 - Rockville Theater Arts Arena (TAA)

The event program for each EXPO is as follows:

10 - 10:05 a.m - Opening Remarks by Department Chairs of Education and Social Sciences
10:05 - 10:45 a.m. - Keynote Address by Our Very Own Faculty
10:45 - 11:45 a.m. - Student Panel of Current MC Students and MC Graduates Representing Various Social Science Disciplines
12 - 2 p.m. - Faculty and staff will be at their tables with informational materials, interactive activities, innovative displays, giveaways, etc. to answer any and all questions.

Students will have an opportunity to get information on courses, degree programs, careers, and other relevant information in the eight social sciences. Students will also have a chance to talk with representatives from local four-year institutions, transfer, counseling and advising, General Studies degree program, Ethnic Social Studies certificate program, financial aid, Study Abroad, Student Life, Achieving the Promise Academy, and employer and internship services.
