Montgomery College, through its MC Open initiative, will be co-hosting a virtual conference on open pedagogy May 10 beginning at 10 a.m. The free conference, ZeroCon19, will feature four speakers, including Montgomery College biology professor Dr. Vedham Karpakakunjaram, talking about open education and how faculty can implement different aspects of open pedagogy into their classes. Dr. Karpakakunjaram will be joined by one of his students. Other speakers will include Dr. Rajiv Jhangiani of Kwantlen Polytechnic Institute, Dr. Shawna Brandle of Kingsborough Community College and Dr. Steel Wagstaff of Pressbooks.
