As we move into Week 2 of the fall semester, you may be wondering, "what is that library link in my Blackboard course menu?"

The MC Library has partnered with ELITE to integrate three library tools into every Blackboard course at MC. These tools are:

Course Reserves: Students can use this link to see any course-related materials held at the library. Faculty can use this link to request that additional items, including the course textbook, be placed on reserve.

Library Course Pages and Research Guides: Clicking this link will take students and faculty into the most-relevant course page, research toolkit, or research subject guide available at the library.

Information Literacy Content: This link will only be visible to the faculty member. It will lead faculty to the library's information literacy learning objects (tutorials, quizzes, and videos) and instructions on how to embed those learning objects directly in a Blackboard course.

We hope this change will make it more convenient for you and your students to access crucial library resources and services at the point of need.

To get help using these tools, access our support materials online or contact the librarian from your campus who specializes in your subject area for assistance.
