<p>The Academic Calendar Committee invites the entire MC community to review and respond to the proposed academic calendar for the 2020-2021 year at <a href="https://info.montgomerycollege.edu/_documents/secured-fas/academic-affairs/academic-calendar-committee/2020-2021-academic-calendar-draft-v1.pdf" target="_blank" data-auth="NotApplicable">https://info.montgomerycollege.edu/_documents/secured-fas/academic-affairs/academic-calendar-committee/2020-2021-academic-calendar-draft-v1.pdf</a> . A MyMC login is required.</p>
<p>Fall M-F classes are proposed to begin on Monday, August 31, and weekend classes on Saturday, September 12. Extended winter session and the three-week winter session will continue through the spring professional week and end on January 22 to allow sufficient instructional time. Spring semester M-F classes are proposed to begin Monday, January 25, and weekend classes on Saturday, January 30. The academic year is scheduled to end on Friday, May 21.</p>
<p>Tuesday, October 20, is proposed as a non-instructional duty day for the purpose of student advising prior to spring registration.</p>
<p>Comments can be submitted to the Calendar Committee at <a href="mailto:calendar.committee@montgomerycollege.edu">calendar.committee@montgomerycollege.edu</a> through November 15, 2019.</p>
