<p><strong>Global Connections invites you to attend the following Black History Month Events:</strong></p>
<p><b>MC Africa and Diaspora Heritage Festival </b></p>
<p><b>Thursday, February 27, 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.</b></p>
<p><b> Student Services Building, 1st Floor Atrium TP/SS Campus </b></p>
<p>Celebrate Black History Month by "traveling" with Global Connections on a journey that explores some of the many cultures of the global African Diaspora! Enjoy exhibits, presentations, food, and fun while learning about diverse cultures of Afro-Descendants from around the world!</p>
<p>Volunteers needed for the festival. Students, faculty/staff may register on the following link to volunteer for a country, culture or talent:</p>

<p>A self-guided field trip package for the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History &amp; Culture.</p>
<p><b>-Stop by TP/SS Student Services Building, Second Floor -Advising Department to pick up your packet, or request packets through campus mail</b>.</p>
<p><b>Black Facts 2020 Trivia Contest</b></p>
<p><i>Sponsored by Boys to Men</i></p>
<p>This trivia contest, in commemoration of Black History Month, is <i>open to MC students</i>. This year's theme is "African Americans and the Vote". Cash Prizes will be awarded to winners!</p>

<p>The rules and process will be emailed to you within 24 hours.</p>
