<p>Full-time and part-time faculty and staff are encouraged to apply to the new Compliance and Ethics Fellows Program and Advisory Workgroup. Program cohort members receive professional development to foster further qualities of an ethical employee. In addition, members serve as an advisory workgroup to provide input from the employee perspective for compliance and ethics activities, programs, and training offered by the Office of Compliance, Risk, and Ethics. Workgroup members share progress with and obtain feedback from stakeholders within their divisions. This program requires intensive work and focus. Employees may apply to participate in either a one- or two-year commitment.</p>
<p>There is a mandatory orientation meeting for selected participants on April 27, 2020, 2-4 p.m. in the Central Services Building. Thereafter, meetings will occur monthly at 2-4 p.m. in the Central Services Building on the second Monday from September 2020 to April 2021. Please note that meetings will be held on the first Monday at 2 p.m. in December 2020 and May 2021.<i> </i>Workgroup members are expected to attend all meetings.</p>
<p>Applications are due<strong> </strong>by <strong>March 10, 2020</strong>, and are available on the Compliance and Ethics Fellows Program website: <a href="http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/compliance-and-ethics-fellows">www.montgomerycollege.edu/compliance-and-ethics-fellows</a>. The Office of Compliance, Risk, and Ethics will review all applications, with first-level approval by the employee's supervisor. Final membership will have input from the Senior Administrative Leadership Team (SALT) with final approval by the Chief Compliance, Risk, and Ethics Officer.</p>
