<p>Walk your way to better Mental and Physical Health this summer! Beginning July 6, the Student Health and Wellness Center for Success is starting our Walk with the SHaW Center program to keep our students, faculty, and staff MC Strong. Our goal for the summer is to have the Montgomery College community take 500,000 steps for good health.</p>
<p>Three days a week we'll get on Zoom for a 30-minute walk. You can walk around the block, in a local park, or explore a new hiking trail. It doesn't matter how fast or slow you go, just get out there and get moving!</p>
<p>Mondays at 6 p.m. we'll have a Walk and Chat.</p>
<p>Wednesdays at 6 p.m. will be Party Walk.</p>
<p>Fridays at 9 a.m. will be a Meditation Walk.</p>
<p>After each walk, log the amount of steps you've taken <a href="" target="_blank">here</a>.</p>
<p>This is a no-pressure fun activity, but if you like a little competition to keep you motivated, you can download the Pacer app and join our group <a href="" target="_blank">Walk with the SHaW Center</a> to see if you can walk the most steps each week.</p>
<p>Follow us on social media for tips on nutrition, hydrating, and self-care through the summer months. Post your own progress and tag us! Anyone is able to participate at any time, but if you'd like email reminders, please sign-up <a href="" target="_blank">here</a>.</p>
