MC Textbook Adoption Training Schedule

	ANNOUNCING: Training for the on-line textbook adoption system combined with the newly-formulated Instructional Materials Affordability Guidelines (IMAG) will be held at all three campuses at the locations and times listed below. This training is for academic deans, faculty and administrative aides that are involved in the adoption of course textbooks and other instructional materials. Your attendance at these training sessions is very important because all spring 2010 semester adoptions will be on-line and will require adherence to the IMAG. The IMAG (Instructional Materials Affordability Guidelines) have been formulated to comply with newly enacted state and federal legislation to reduce the high cost of textbooks and other materials to students. The Guidelines also are designed to enhance transparency and disclosure with respect to the selection, purchase, sale, and use of course material.
