As many of you know, Blackboard has announced that it will no longer support WebCT after 2012. As a result, the Office of Distance Learning is helping lead a group looking into a new course management system. Two vendors have been identified by the Distance Learning Program Advisory Committee to demonstrate their product and answer faculty questions. One of the vendors, Blackboard, will be at MC this week. Below is the list of dates and times Blackboard will be at each of the campuses to show its product and to answer any questions.

Tuesday, October 27 at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus 9:30 to 11 a.m. and 1:30 to 3 p.m. in ST 301

Wednesday, October 28 at the Germantown Campus 9:30 to 11 a.m. and 1:30 to 3 p.m. in GB 105

Friday, October 30 at the Rockville Campus 9:30 to 11 a.m. and 1:30 to 3 p.m. in HU 009
The other vendor, Desire2Learn, was at MC the week of October 12. One of the sessions was videotaped for faculty who could not attend; it has been uploaded on the College's podcast site and you can view the entire presentation at http://podcast.montgomerycollege.edu/podcast.php?rcdid=252.
