Calendar Committee Invites Comments on Academic Calendar Updates

 The entire Montgomery College community is invited to review our Academic Year Calendars at http://www.mcinfonet.org/calendar_committee/ and http://www.mcinfonet.org/calendar_committee/calendars.htm.
The Academic Calendar Committee begins planning calendars five years in advance, but we know that next year probably matters most to you! Therefore, we are asking you to review and comment on 2010-2011, next year, and our newest planned calendar, 2014-2015.
The 2010-2011 calendar is substantially the same as this year. Because of the late Labor Day, the school year starts the Monday before Labor Day. A few small editing changes have been made for consistency with other calendars.
The 2014-2015 calendar is new for your review. Please pay special attention to this calendar, a test model for an academic calendar with additional information about summer end dates and grades due dates for each semester. The Academic Calendar Committee would like as much feedback as possible about this longer format calendar, which we hope will make some key dates for faculty more apparent.
