The Gateway to College program is collecting canned foods and non-perishable food items from November 2-13. At the end of the drive, all donations will go to Manna Food Center in Rockville, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. We invite you to participate!
On Monday, November 2, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., a bake sale will be held at the Rockville campus, in front of CC and PE buildings. All-time favorites such as cupcakes, brownies, and cookies will be for sale to raise funds for Manna. Fabulous prizes such as I-Pod Nano, gift certificates, and additional surprises are available to people who purchase at least three baked items. Our very own students will provide music while you enjoy your goodies. In case of inclement weather, the bake sale will be held in the CC building.
During the entire food drive, you can receive discounts & give-aways when you bring canned goods to Cafe MC at Rockville and Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campuses.
From November 9-13, MBI Cafe at the Rockville Campus proudly sponsors the food drive by giving away one free tall beverage for any two canned goods.
