Montgomery College recently hosted the Middle Atlantic Division of the Association of American Geographers Conference at the Germantown Campus. Five students from the Geography Department in Rockville participated against fellow geographers from local four year institutions in a Geography Bowl. The six students earning the most points were selected to represent the division in the National competition next year in Washington, DC. Two students from Montgomery College will be going on to the national competition, Christopher Leeney and Daniel Pearre. The three additional students from Montgomery College were An Tran, Guillaume Auclert, and Thaddeus Ellerbe.
