The Office of the Vice President for Planning and Institutional Effectiveness invites the College community to celebrate the achievement towards the FY 2009 strategic goals and outcomes.

In FY 2009, Montgomery College focused on three top academic and administrative outcomes. By and large, there has been significant achievement in all goal areas, and despite the challenges posed by the economic turmoil, the College demonstrated 92.9 percent satisfactory results. Attached is the FY 2009 Strategic Planning Report which summarizes the planning process, reviews the strategic goals, and presents the Collegewide assessment results. This report provides a tool to assess the campus and unit effectiveness and a means to identify improvement opportunities.

Furthermore, each unit head or campus provost has received an
individual unit/campus report that includes an at-a-glance chart of the FY 2009 unit strategic planning assessment and a detail listing of the action plans and their associated assessment results.

Strategic goals are reviewed every three years and in Fall 2007, representatives from faculty, students, staff, and administrators participated in an environmental scanning exercise and developed a new set of mission-driven goals for the FY 2010 - FY 2012 planning cycle.
