In the last week's video blog, Dr. Pinkney talks about how the College hosted a speaking engagement on October 26 with James McBride, the author of the novel for the One Maryland One Book statewide reading program. He also recaps the recent two-day Board of Trustees working retreat and notes how new Trustee Marsha Suggs Smith posed an important question about community colleges to Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley at a recent education conference. In closing, he acknowledges the collaborative work and leadership he has witnessed from the Collegewide Deans.
