	Collaborate with your colleagues on best practices for helping underprepared students succeed in courses that demand college-level reading and writing! <b>Wednesday, November 4 2:30 - 4 p.m. GB 178 (Germantown)</b> Join us for an informal roundtable discussion and brainstorming session focused on two articles: one that deals with the experiences of underprepared students in college-level courses; and the other that discusses how students use (or don't use) transfer writing skills from English courses into other disciplines. Faculty from outside English are especially encouraged to participate! Articles and root beer floats provided; participants earn 1.5 professional development credits.
