This article is presented to you as part of the National Health Information and Technology Week celebration. Montgomery College has a program in health information management at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus, teaching students to collect and manage health records, and deliver timely, accurate data to health care providers. Montgomery College's program is a unique combination of online and blended classes, which are offered in the evening with labs during the day. Students also have the option of pursuing a certificate in medical coding, and then continuing toward an A.A.S. degree.
