The Office of Student Life still has a few spots left for the upcoming Alternative Thanksgiving Break. Interested students may submit applications until Friday, November 6. Applications will be reviewed and approved on a rolling basis until then.<b>What is Alternative Thanksgiving Break?</b>
This Thanksgiving, MC students can spend Friday evening through Sunday afternoon in a service-packed adventure tackling Hunger & Homelessness in our own backyard.
Participants will volunteer at a transitional home in Rockville for at-risk families who are moving from poverty into stable housing. Other activities will include group challenges involving hunger & homelessness in the area.
