The Institute of International Education reported that for the 2014/2015 school year, Montgomery College had the seventh most international students enrolled of all the community colleges in the United States.

Only two-year schools in Texas, California and Washington had more international students enrolled during this school year. MC saw 1,877 international students take classes here in 2014/2015.

In addition, a Chronicle of Higher Education report in 2014 named Montgomery College the tenth most diverse public two-year school in the nation. MC scored a 77.91 on the Chronicle's diversity index, which measures the probability that any two students are from different ethnic groups. Of the 15 community colleges on the list, MC served the most students with 27,453 credit-bearing students in fall of 2012.

Most people know that MC serves students from all around the world, but the rankings prove that MC is unique in its scope of diversity.
