First Honor Guard Formed in Public Safety

The Montgomery College Office of Public Safety, Health, and Emergency Management formed their first honor guard. And, as a first among firsts, our Honor Guard presented the Colors at our May graduation on Friday, May 17th, 2024. This was a task usually reserved for the Rockville or Montgomery County Police. We solicited members from across our three campuses. The members represent officers from all three, attended training, and had a voice in the design of the new uniform, to include an Honor Guard patch. They performed magnificently, and received a lot of praise from within the campus community.
