From September 21-25, Montgomery College Library will host the 3rd Annual Information Literacy Week, featuring engaging workshops, games, discussions, and other activities for students, faculty, and staff.

This year's theme, Receipts Required: Information Literacy Across the Disciplines, highlights how information literacy supports learning, research, and informed decision-making across fields of study.

Event registration opens Monday, August 24! Browse and register for sessions through the Information Literacy Week Event Calendar. Faculty and staff may also register for events through Workday.

We are also pleased to welcome Paul T. Jaeger, PhD, JD, MLS, MEd, Professor and Distinguished Scholar-Teacher at the University of Maryland, as our keynote speaker. His presentation, "Literacy is Liberty: Challenges to Information Access and Behavior Posed by Politics and Policies," will explore how censorship, political decisions, and public policy shape information access and information behavior, and what these challenges mean for information literacy and civic participation.

Learn more and explore past sessions through the Information Literacy Week LibGuide.
