Fall Convocation 2026 TODAY!

Join us for the Fall Convocation 2026: Exceptional by Design to celebrate the people, purpose, and progress that define Montgomery College.

All College employees are invited to attend, regardless of work location.

Our faculty, staff, and administrators work hard every day to create exceptional educational experiences for our students. Whether supporting learners in the classroom, providing essential services behind the scenes, building community partnerships, or strengthening College operations, each employee plays an important role in helping students discover their passions, unlock their potential, and achieve extraordinary outcomes.

During this year's Convocation, we'll hear directly from past and current students, celebrate the progress we've made toward our Strategic Plan goals and Transformational Aspirations, and look ahead to the opportunities that will shape Montgomery College's future. Together, we'll reaffirm the shared purpose that connects our work.

Fall Convocation 2026, TODAY! Monday, August 24, 9-11 a.m. Parilla Performing Arts Center, Rockville Campus

Immediately following Convocation, join your colleagues for Exceptional Together, our annual Employee Appreciation Event celebrating the community and collaboration that make Montgomery College an exceptional place to learn and work. It will be held at the Becker Family Quad from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., with a weather contingency at the Theater Arts Building.

And don't miss a special moment at 11:45 a.m., when we'll gather as one for an aerial drone photo--a chance to be part of a fun snapshot of Montgomery College's exceptional community.

In-person attendance is encouraged, though we will also livestream Convocation on the event webpage.

We can't wait to celebrate the start of the new academic year.
