Are you looking for new ways to enhance your online courses, connect with colleagues, and strengthen your course design skills? Consider joining one of our quality assurance professional development opportunities: Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) or the Quality Assurance (QA) Microcredential.

The APPQMR workshop introduces faculty to the nationally recognized Quality Matters standards for online course design and provides practical strategies you can apply directly to your own courses. It's also the first step for those interested in becoming certified Quality Matters Peer Reviewers.

The QA Microcredential offers a deeper dive into quality assurance practices through a series of digital badges that recognize faculty expertise in online teaching, course design, accessibility, innovation, and continuous improvement. Whether you're just getting started or looking to expand your knowledge, there's a pathway for you.

Still deciding whether APPQMR or the QA Microcredential is a good fit? Hearing directly from a colleague can help. Carolyn Castro, who has earned QA Microcredential badges, and Michaela Pacesova, who completed APPQMR, have volunteered to serve as faculty resources for those interested in learning more. Reach out to MC Online for additional information or to be connected with Carolyn or Michaela for a one-on-one conversation about their experience.

Investing time in professional development can have a lasting impact on your courses and your students' learning experience. We hope you'll consider joining a growing community of faculty committed to excellence in online teaching and learning.
