May 26, 2010 MEMORANDUM To: Montgomery College Community From: Judy E. Ackerman, Vice President and Provost Subject: Appointment of Rockville Instructional Dean I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Darrin Campen, following a national search, as Instructional Dean of Social Sciences, History, Education, Exercise Science, Health Enhancement and Physical Education at the Rockville Campus. Dr. Campen will fill the position that was held by Dr. Gail Montgomery until she retired last summer and he will join us on June 21, 2010. My special thanks go to the search committee for its good work and commitment to the search process. Dr. Campen comes to us from Aiken Technical College in South Carolina where he is the Department Chair of History and Social Sciences and teaches psychology.
