FY14 Fixed Asset Inventory & Perkins Grant Asset Inventory

Beginning May 15, 2014, the College will be undergoing a Fixed Asset Inventory and Perkins Grant Asset Inventory for FY2014. The Office of Procurement, Office of Business Services and Property Control are requesting your assistance during this time. Please notify your department heads that a small group, comprised of an outside contractor and College Property Control personnel, will be verifying equipment locations throughout the College. Each department should identify a representative to assist the inventory team, should they need help in locating equipment, and forward that name on to James Fowlkes via email by April 30th. The inventory team will start on the Rockville Campus on May 15, 2014. After the inventory is verified at Rockville, the inventory team will move on to the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus, and will complete the cycle at the Germantown Campus. We are endeavoring to have this inventory cause as little disruption as possible to the College community, with the estimated completion date being May 21, 2014. With this being said, the prevailing drive behind the inventory is to safe guard the assets of the College and to adhere to OMB Circular 110 requirements for Federal grants.
