Montgomery College Foundation Rises in National Rankings
According to the latest report from the Council for Aid to Education (CAE) and their Voluntary Support of Education (VSE) survey, the Montgomery College Foundation rose from 26th place in 2012 to 12th place in 2014. CAE is the authoritative national source of data on charitable giving to higher education. This survey estimates national trends for benchmarking by individual institutions. As the MC2020 Campaign progresses, Carol Rognrud, executive director of the foundation, expects to see the numbers continue to rise. "We are fortunate to have wonderfully savvy donors who recognize that providing scholarships to students who can't otherwise afford to pursue their education is the key to ensuring Montgomery County remains such a sought after place to live and work. With their help, I envision the foundation will soon be in the top 10 in the CAE survey for two-year colleges."
