The planning of the conference has been a collaboration with the College, Montgomery County Healthy Human Services, the Women's Commission, Montgomery County Public Schools Prekindergarten Head Start, and Family Services, Inc.
The conference is open to the public and free for all attendees.
Although it is being hosted at Montgomery College it is being co-sponsored by United Bank, the Bank of Gaithersburg and Subway.

All food donations will go to Manna Foods to help members of our community who are in need. Manna's current food inventory is lower than usual, so every donation will be helpful. In the 11th most affluent county in the nation, there are thousands of food insecure families. We're asking everyone to donate and make a difference.</p>

Three faculty and staff presented, and 15 students presented their research at the conference. Presentations spanned across STEM from vaccine hesitancy, a bioinformatics dive into algae, best practices for a computer science club, and so much more. Montgomery College students earned top marks in the oral presentations. Selena Ritschel (faculty mentor Evdokia Kastanos) placed 1st with their presentation "Lysogenic properties of Bacteriophages, isolated as part of the HHMI SEA-PHAGES program in introductory biology" and Julia Mesquita Peterson (faculty mentor Kiersten Newtoff) placed 3rd with their presentation "Human activity as a predictor of nest predation in Eastern Bluebirds: A comparative study of urban campuses and woodland preserves.".</p>

<p>Beginning with the summer 2026 session, there is a new, easier way for students to register for classes. To register for summer 2026 classes, follow the instructions below:</p>

<li>Register for classes by logging in to MyMC, and navigating to the Register and Pay for Classes card. Click the Register Now link.</li>
<li>From the Registration menu, click Register for Classes.</li>
<li>On the Select a Term page,<strong> choose the Summer 2026 term</strong>, then click Continue.</li>
<li>On the Register for Classes page, enter your search criteria and click Search or Advanced Search to view available classes.</li>
</ol>
<p>Tip: Once the search results appear, click the course title, which is a hyperlink that opens the course details. The pop up window displays information such as the course/section notes, instructor/meeting times, corequisites, required textbooks & materials, attributes, enrollment/waitlist and fees.</p>
