Beginning Monday, April 13, MC Infonet will be accessible exclusively through My MC. MC Infonet is the College's "intranet" or secured Web presence for internally-focused content, documentation and Web space. MC Infonet will no longer be directly accessible using http://www.mcinfonet.org. This change is necessary so that we may provide additional security for internal and/or confidential content, as well as to position us for improved functionality in future phases of our Web (.edu and MC Infonet) redesign efforts.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR LINKING TO MC INFONET CONTENT:
Links to MC Infonet content will still be functional, with one minor change in the link structure. Please note from the following example that users linking to MC Infonet content (e.g., e-mail links or links from an Inside MC Online article), will need to insert an additional forward slash "/" after the mcinfonet.org domain in the URL.
Example: www.mcinfonet.org//example.htm
Once the link is clicked, users will be directed to the My MC login page. Once login is complete, the requested information will appear.
Any questions on this change can be directed to our IT Help Desk at 240-567-7222.
